The big difference between a wetsuit and drysuit is that with a drysuit the warmth and protection comes by staying totally dry whether in the water or out. A wetsuit works on the principal that even though wet, body heat will not escape through neoprene. Any water in the suit will warm up.

Designed with winter conditions in mind, the Gill Thermal Dinghy Top offers a warm solution for cold weather sailing. Made using a softshell fabric which is waterproof, windproof and breathable, with a fleece lining for extra comfort. The high collar allows you to snuggle down into the garment for protection from wind and spray. The stretch PU waistband creates a comfortable seal and prevents the garment from riding up.

Gill's Pro Dinghy Salopettes have been designed with a high-fit chest and back for greater protection from the wind and water. Abrasion-resistant reinforcement fabric extends from the knee to the hem, which is shaped to prevent it being caught when hiking out. Made using a 2-Dot™ waterproof, windproof and breathable material that is fully taped. The full zip opening has an inner flap for comfort again the skin. The armholes and neck opening have a PU binding to help prevent water ingress.
